Gone are the days when Indian Women and Business had nothing in common. There was a certain period in the Indian Civilization that witnessed the ‘imposed ignorance of women’, where they ought knew only one business- the household business. This dark period was gradually taken over by a period which witnessed the emergence of women in business, and so-much-so that today India has female business tycoons from the field of Banking, Food & Beverage, Public Offering, Pharmaceuticals and many others.

The camouflage has really been removed and women have proved their mettle not only in politics (Sonia Gandhi, the UPA Chairperson, has made it up to Forbes list of World’s Most Powerful Women), but in Indian business and global business sectors too. Indira Nooyi, Simone Tata, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Naina Lal Kidwani, Kalpana Morporia, Ekta kapoor are few Indian Business Women who negated the codes of social conformity and made their presence felt globally. Where there are stories of high class ladies who completed their studies from Universities of the like of Cambridge, there are Indian Business Women like Gulab Devi of Ajmer who hadn’t ever had a formal education but is a solar engineer! Gulab Devi, who is the sole bread earner of the family consisting of her ailing husband and four kids, makes electronic circuits and chargers for solar lighting panels like Rajasthan, Bihar, J&K, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Uttaranchal, Assam and Sikkim.

So it’s not only the top class business sectors where women have marked their niche. Middle class women from the rural areas have also become pro business women. Vending goods at railway stations and footpaths had by and large been a male feature. Visit Kolkata, Gujarat or Delhi and you would see that it is as much a female’s domain as a male’s. These business women are too much of a fighter, waking up each day, using their corporate skills to earn the maximum possible profit for their livelihood.

Charting their own course, these women among many others crossed various milestones and realized the power of business. Today many of them adorn the cover of magazines and newspaper highlights, undergo business trips, address employees, manage firms single handedly and reign high in the once male dominated world.

There is no one factor that initiated the change. It has been able of the social acceptability, the comfort level and multiple growth opportunities women have been offered in the corporate industry. The zeal and enthusiasm with which these ladies work, is no doubt the decisive success factor. They are not negatively self conscious that they are women and cannot make it big- which alone is the driving force.

India is a home to more than one billion people and has oodles of sacrosanct sites and stirring philosophical epics for those seeking spiritual sustenance. The Indian subcontinent touches three large bodies of water and is immediately recognizable on any world map, set apart from the rest of Asia by the supreme continental wall of the Himalayas.

People who came to visit India purely aimed to explore Indian culture and heritage. By so doing, they are applying for tourist Indian visas. Conversely, some visitors of India just need to stay in India for less than 72 hours, so they are just getting a transit visa to India. These visitors are usually having a business trip which is meant for the 72 hours stay in the country. There is also a five years tourist Indian visas provided to visitors so they can stay in the country for up to 3 months or 90 days within five years of visiting the country.

Any private Indian visa processing companies outsourced by the Indian Embassy may assist processing of an Indian Visa. Applicants will just comply with the requirements need by the Indian Embassy. The processing usually took 5 working days and varies from the countries where you are applying for an Indian visa. Factors like the total period of your stay in the country and the necessity of the visa will determine the total cost of the whole visa application. The general requirements for applying a visa may or may not differ with the nation or with the Indian Immigration or visa set of rules.

On the other hand, for people who are interested to get a job in India there are two kinds of work-related visas provided in India. One is the Indian Business Visa called B visa and an Indian Employment Visa called E visa.

When traveling in India, there are certain things that you must never miss and there are certain places you must always place in your itinerary. North Indian sites are not to be missed when you’re looking to experience a mix of ancient Indian heritage and modernism.

When you consult tour operators in India about North Indian tour packages, the most popular one that they’ll put forward is the Golden Triangle Package. This package includes tours of three places in India that are of historical importance; the three being Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. It is one of the most popular travel packages in the country.

This will mostly be a 7/8 days and 6/7 nights trip starting at Delhi. The first two days are spent at Delhi, the third day in traveling from Delhi to Agra, the fourth day in visiting Agra, the fifth day in traveling to Jaipur and looking around the city and the sixth day in returning to Delhi. A lot of Mughal architectural marvels can be visited during this trip, along the likes of the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort, the Hawa Mahal, and many more.

Then there are the very famous wildlife tours in North India as many wildlife sanctuaries are spread across this part of the country. The tour can last for 15 or 16 days depending on the package and can also include the Golden Triangle. The tour kicks off from Delhi and the first destination is the famous Jim Corbett National Park, which is famous for its tigers.

The next destination is the Ranthambore Sanctuary followed by the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. The trip’s last destination is the Kanha National Park, which is famous for its antelopes. During the journey, you may otherwise get to visit Agra and Khajuraho, two very famous heritage sites.

Another famous destination right on top of the list of many tour operators in India is the 15 day Camel Safari Package that takes tourists around the desert destination of Rajasthan. The package covers all major cities in Rajasthan like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Mandwa, Udaipur, Mount Abu, and Ranthambore. The main attraction is the day long camel back safari through the desert that’s organized within the Desert National Park.

Besides these there are the Buddhist Pilgrimage travel packages in India that take tourists around all major Buddhist cities. Through the Palace On Wheels tour, you can take a journey around Rajasthan in a luxurious, palatial train. These travel packages can be mixed and matched with other travel destinations upon request through tour operators in India.

Wedding traditions of India usually include the traditional Hindu wedding marriage, which represents the union of both the couple and their families becoming one. The families in India are very involved in who their children marry and often will choose the bride or groom. Just a few decades ago the bride and groom would first meet on their wedding day, but in most urban areas today people are able to choose for themselves who they want to marry.

Arranged marriages are still common practice in India and use their horoscopes to see if they are compatible. It also continues in more advanced areas, but usually the couple will meet to see if they have common interests. However marriages for love are becoming a more common occurrence.

A couple months before the wedding there is an engagement party called Mangni or Nischitartham. At this time the two families will meet to perform rituals to make the engagement certain and then a date and time is set for the wedding depending on the horoscope. Then the newly engaged couple is blessed by the elders of the families and is given gifts of jewelry and clothing. Sometimes a ring will be given to the soon-to-be bride and groom to show that they are engaged to one another.

Any loan has to repaid along with interest. In the case of EMI system of repayment, interest for the entire loan tenure is computed and added to the principal amount. Then the sum is divided by the number of months in which the loan has to be repaid. The result is called EMI. This amount has to be repaid regularly. For accounting purpose the interest components of the EMI would be larger in the initial months and gradually go down. The real rate of interest will be much higher than the rate interest advertised by the Financial Institutions as the principal is also being repaid from first month onwards; but the interest is calculated for the whole loan tenure.

Andhra Pradesh, the symbol of true spirit of Indian secularism where people of all faiths -Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu form a symphony of religions. History has forged, and left behind vital links with the state, as is evident from the many edifices, monuments and architectural ruins, the legacy of dynasties as old as 300 B.C. Traces of the diverse and variegated facets of the culture of the Mauryas, Pallavas, Cholas, Satavahanas, Chalukyas and Vijayanagar, offer imposing vistas, that continue to fascinate the observer. Situated south of the Vindhyas, it shares a common history with its neighbours, Maharashtra , Orissa , Madhya Pradesh , Tamil Nadu and Karnataka . The medieval city of Hyderabad is its capital.

In the harsh terrain of the hills and ravines of Aravallis, flourishes the city of lakes, Udaipur. One of the most romantic places in India, Udaipur is situated around the shimmering clear blue water lakes, which whisper the mood of a bygone era.

The city was founded in 1567 AD by Maharana Udai Singh on the advice of a sage. Udaipur was last of the numerous Mewar capitals. It was in Udaipur that legendary Maharana Pratap was born. He was obsessed with Chittaur and the past glories of the Sisodia clan possessed his mind. Maharana Pratap left Udaipur to win back Chittaur from the Mughals. But he failed in his attempts and Udaipur remained the capital of Mewar till India got her independence. The memory of the failure of noble Pratap gives Udaipur its pervading mood of nostalgic wistfulness.
